Estimate exercise capacity based on performance from exercise treadmill test

Formulas

\[VO_2 = Speed \times [0.1 + (Grade \times 1.8)] + 3.5\]

\[METs = \frac{VO_2}{3.5}\]

 

Speed in m/min = Speed in mph x 26.8

Grade expressed as a fraction
